| The detasseling work for hybrid seed corn has always relied on manual labor, which is inefficient and labor-intensive. Currently, various mechanical detasseling devices have problems like feeding difficulties or excessive damage. This article focuses on a roller extraction detasseling device, explaining its structure and operating mechanism, and mainly discusses the interaction between the tassels and the roller. It conducts key parameter experiments looking at inflation pressure, rotational speed, tilt angle, and working forward speed. First, the independent effects of each parameter were determined using the single-factor method, and then a four-factor, three-level orthogonal design was used to examine the combined effects of multiple parameters. The experiment results show that if the rotational speed is controlled between 1900~2100 r·min-1, the tilt angle is 42°~46°, the inflation pressure is 45~52 kPa, and the forward speed is 2.5~3.2 km·h-1, a good balance between detasseling rate and leaf damage can be achieved. Field trials have confirmed that with these parameters, the detasseling rate reaches 97.32%, while damage is only 2.4%, basically meeting the requirements for mechanical operation. |
