      以86份谷子种质为研究对象,于2022年和2023年在内蒙古赤峰市开展田间试验,设正常灌水(CK)和干旱胁迫(T)2个处理,通过测定谷子株高、茎基粗、穗下茎长、穗长、穗粗、倒二叶SPAD值、单穗重、千粒重、籽粒产量9个指标,采用综合抗旱系数(CDC)、抗旱性度量值(D)、加权抗旱系数(WDC)对谷子中后期抗旱性进行综合评价。研究结果表明,干旱胁迫下9个指标的测定值均下降,下降程度依次为产量(35.17%)>单穗重(17.36%)>穗下茎长(16.51%)>穗长(14.08%)>穗粗(13.77%)>茎基粗(12.38%)>株高(12.37%)>叶绿素含量(10.16%)>千粒重(9.09%)。相关性分析结果表明,穗粗和产量的相关性最强,相关系数为0.97。主成分分析将9个鉴定指标转换成5个主成分,累计方差贡献率达89.2%。分别以D值、CDC值和WDC值为依据进行k-means函数聚类分析,将参试种质材料抗旱性划分为5个等级,其中应用3种综合抗旱评价方法都筛选出的高抗种质有9份(CMG30、CMG57、峰红2号、金苗K10、CMG58、CMG59、CMG60、CMG61、CMG62)。逐步回归分析结果表明,可将株高、穗长、穗粗、单穗重和产量作为谷子中后期抗旱鉴定的客观评价指标,D值为适宜的抗旱评价方法。

      Using 86 millet germplasms as research objects, field experiments were carried out in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia in 2022 and 2023 to assess field drought tolerance during their mid to late growth stages. The study utilized two treatments of normal irrigation (CK) and drought stress (T).Nine morphological indicators, including plant height, stem basal diameter, spike stem length, spike length, spike diameter, SPAD chlorophyll content, single spike weight, 1000-grain weight, and yield, were assessed. Comprehensive drought resistance coefficient (CDC), drought resistance index (D), and weighted drought resistance coefficient (WDC) were combined to identify the drought tolerance of millet at mid to late growth stage. The research results showed that under drought stress, all 9 measured indicators showed a decrease, with the order of decrease being yield (35.17%) > single spike weight (17.36%) > spike stem length (16.51%) > spike length (14.08%) > spike diameter (13.77%) > stem basal diameter (12.38%) > plant height (12.37%) > chlorophyll content (10.16%) > 1000-grain weight (9.09%). Correlation analysis revealed the correlation between spike diameter and yield being the strongest, at a coefficient of 0.97. Principal component analysis transformed the nine evaluation indexes into five comprehensive indexes, accounting for a cumulative variance contribution of 89.2%.The 86 millet accessions were categorized into five groups based on CDC, D, WDC value cluster analysis. Three comprehensive evaluation methods for drought resistance identified 9 accessions in cluster I as highly drought tolerant (CMG30, CMG57, FH2, JMK10, CMG58, CMG59, CMG60, CMG61, CMG62). Plant height, spike length, spike diameter, single spike weight, and yield could serve as the objective evaluation indexes for assessing millet’s drought tolerance during the mid to late growth stages, with the D value being suitable for drought evaluation.
