Abstract:
Effects of water and fertilizer coupling on photosyntheti c characteristics and yield/quality of soybean were investigated at conditions wit h different water and fertilizer treatments. The results showed that leaf photos ynthetic rate of soybean was strongly dependent on water supply. Under the condi tion of sufficient water, the photosynthetic rate was incereased when chemical f ertilizers were applied, and yields of soybean were increased with the increment of water and fertilizer. Under the condition of sufficient water combined w ith chemical fertilizer and manure, the maximum yield (3 124.5 kg/hm2) was o btai ned, with the increase rate of 83.2% compared to drought and no fertilizer. The combination of chemical fertilizer with manure was beneficial to the accumul atio n of protein when water supply was inadequate. However, it was not beneficia l to protein accumulation but good for fat accumulation when water supply was suffie ient.
