| Abstract: |
| Reasonable use of groundwater is important to sustainable develo pm ent of agriculture. This paper studied the occuping situation of agriculture and pastry to groundwater factors in history of Loess Plateau by using a metho d of historical developement. Two characters have been found: Firstly, the harn ess of groundwater tended to become complex and diversified along with the prom otion of productive level and the extension of agricultural and pastral activi ties of human being; Secondly, the depth and width of groundwater use in agric ulture have a close relation with productive force, the change of which is a key factor in determining groundwater use degree and model in Loess Plateau. |
