| Abstract: |
| This paper gave a survey on the variable-rate sprinklers for precision irrigation. The variation principles of the throw distance, flow rate and rotation speed of variable-rate sprinklers for precision irrigation on square area were given. The irrigation uniformity for single sprinkler of this kind should be improved when multi-sprinklers are spaced for irrigation. And the ideal distribution pattern of sprinklers of this kind had been developed. The results provided theoritical supports for the design of variable-rate sprinklers for precision irrigation on square area. |
