Abstract:
The research was carried out on the yield formation and physiological characters of high yield wheat by using 9 wheat cultivars with three types such as multi-spike genotype., middle-spike genotype and large-spike genotype as test materials. The results indicated that in Guanzhong region cultivars with three types all could gain high yield, but middle-spike genotype and large-spike genotype had more potential than the multi-spike genotype. Comparing with bumper yield cultivars, high-yield cultivars had obvious superiorities in LAI, chlorophll content, net photosynthesis rate and MDA content of flag leaves during filling period. The main physiological reasons of high grain yield were of having longer leaf function sustain period, higher net photosynthesis rate but slower descent spead of Pn in filling stage.
