| Abstract: |
| This paper reports the influence of different treatments on the germination rate of Stellera. chamaejasme L. seeds. The results showed that the germination rate was the highest (61.7%) when the S.chamaejasme seeds were soaked for 0.5 h with 1.25 g/L methiophanate-methyl sulfur and cultured in Petri dishes with 2.5 mg/L GA3, and the germination rate was 48.3% when the seeds were soaked for 0.5 h with 50-fold dilution of 98% (v/v) sulphuric acid and cultured in Petri dishes with 2.5 mg/L GH3 The germination rate of S. chamaejasme seeds could be improved when treated with varied temperature or ultraviolet radiation, but be inhibited when treated with ultrasonic wave or NaOH solution. |
