Abstract:
Based on the principal component analysis (PCA) of soil salinization fectors in Yanqi Basin, it is discovered that soil salinity in the wasteland cumulates strongly toward to the surface and there is hardly natural eluviation in it. But there are the phenomena of salinity cumulation and eluviation in the arable land, and the soil salinity is relatively even in the profile. The first principal component can denote the degree of soil salinity, and the second and third principal component can denote the degree of soil alkalinity.
