| Abstract: |
| Under the natural condition, twelve alfalfa varieties of Emperor, Algonquin, WL323, WL-323ML, WL-324, WL-323HQ, Cimmaron, Siriver, Farmer's, Giant, Empress and Huining from domestic and aboard were analyzed in growing characteristics and ecological adaptability in Linyou county in Weibei highland in 2001~2002. The results of variance analysis show that Emperor, Algonquin, WL-323ML and Cimmaron have the characteristics of favorable stability, high yield of potential, strong regeneration and are adapted to plant on large areas. But the domestic variety Huining has a inferior position in yield, regeneration and upstanding ability. |
