Abstract:
This project was conducted to study the influence of spring and autumn ploughing on the physical and chemical characters of soil and the change of moisture content in farmland. The results showed that autumn ploughing was more beneficial to improve the physical and chemical characters of soil than spring ploughing. Therefore, autumn ploughing should be applied as a major pattern of cultivation in the farmlands in dry pasture regions.
