| Abstract: |
| The experiment was carried out to evaluate the effect of N∶P ratio on adzuki bean in newly constructed terrace in the hilly regions of North Shaanxi. The results showed that: (1)Both N and P fertilizer affected the yield of adzuki bean greatly, in which the effect of N was more remarkable, and the interaction between N and P fertilizer was also noticeable; (2)N and P fertilizer mainly improved beanpod formatting, and therefore the number of bean grains and the grain yield of single plant were clearly increased; (3)With moderate N and P input, the highest water use efficiency of adzuki bean could be achieved; (4)Moderate N and P input was available to improve the economic benefit of adzuki bean in newly built terrace. |
