| Abstract: |
| By North Carolina Design, GCA, SCA and hereditary capacities of ear length, fruit length, row number per ear, grain number per row, weight per 100 grain and yield of 15 corn inbred lines under middle water stress were analyzed. The result showed that GCA of most traits in 80660, 80009, wu109 was higher, and they were useful inbred lines to yield increase and drought resistance. Combines 80625×wu109, 80009×138, 80622×wu109 were cultivated for demonstration in drought areas. The hereditary capacity for yield under water stress was low, and the selection for secondary traits, such as ear length, fruit length, might increase the selection efficiency in early generation. |
