Based on the basis of observed data of alfalfa and meteorology, the characteristes of the growth, water consumption of alfalfa, as well as soil moisture were studied. The growing conditions were analysed from different respects. The conclusion could provide some scientific basis for futher development of local grass production and ecological construction.
