Abstract:
The effect of weeding the bunds of cotton fields on cotton aphid (Aphis Gossypii) control was probed in Xinhe County of south Xinjiang and the percentage of leaf-rolled cotton is compared to that of control cotton. During the 2-year research, controlling efficacy on cotton aphid was 7090 percent in the seedling and buding periods, and percentage of leaf-rolled cotton decreases by 3.2516.83 times as much as before. There is significant difference between the treatment and the control, the effective farming technique is to regulate the relationship among cotton aphid overwintering, early spring immigrating and bund weeding.
