| Abstract: |
| The effects of NaCl stresses on the seed germinations of fourteen cucumber varieties were studied. The results showed that as NaCl concentration rose, the inhibitive effects on the seed germinations obviously increased and the vital indexes, germination indexes, the number of the first order of lateral root on the seed embryos more sensitively responded. The seed germinations of the fourteen cucumber varieties were differently inhibited by the stress; Zhongnong 12 and Jinchun 5 were salt tolerant, Xinxiu 2 and Jinyou1 were not salt tolerant and the other were moderately salt tolerant. |
