Abstract:
Under the conditions simulated with 20% PEG6000, the effect of soaking seed with 0.5% CaCl2、 50 mg/L GA and 0.5% CaCl2+50 mg/L GA on antioxidative enzyme activity of wheat embryo part was studied. The result showed that activity of POD, CAT, SOD of the seed treated with Ca+GA was the lowest during experiment periods, especially on the first and the third growing day. The activity of APX and GR also maintained very low level. So, soaking seed with Ca+GA could keep the oxidant condition of embryo part in a lowest level and was favorable for seedling establishment under drought.
