Abstract:
Aplant efficiency analyzer was used to study the effects of the irrigation at different rates on the kinetic parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence in wheat flagleaves with wheat shielding from rainfall during its growth. The results showed that Fo,Fv ,Fm,Fv /Fm and Fv/Fo varied in a V-shape manner; Fo reached its lowest point between 9∶00 and 11∶00,and Fv,Fm,Fv/Fm and Fv/Fo reached their lowest points at 15∶00;the Fo in the treatment in which wheat was irrigated once at the jointing stage and once at the heading stage was the highest among the Fos in other irrigation treatments.Meantime, the highest Fv,Fm,Fv/Fm and Fv/Fo appeared in the treatments in which wheat was irrigated three times, once at the jointing stage, the heading stage and the flowering stage, respectively. These indicated that the increased irrigation during wheat growth could improve the kinetic parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence in wheat flagleaves, and then raise wheat yield. But as the number of irrigation increased, the field waters consumption increased and the water use efficiency remarkably declined.
