| Abstract: |
| The data collected by 51 meteorological stations distributing in seven provinces of the loess plateau and such statistic methods as EOF were used to study the Effects of the climate and climatic productivity in the loess plateau of China on global climate. The results showed that in the loess plateau, the annual and seasonal temperatures clearly tended to rise and the temperature- increasing rate was higher than that the national average in the same periods; both the annual rainfall and seasonal rainfall tended to decrease; the climatic productivity tended to decrease; the future warm-type climate was beneficial to crop production increasing with a yield-increasing rate of 5.9% but the cold-type climate was detrimental to crop production with a yield-decreasing rate of 6.3%. |
