| Abstract: |
| In the greenhouse,by conducting pot and field experiments,the diagnosis method of crop moisture content from variable differential in stem diameter of tomato was studied.The results showed that the shrinking and swelling in stem diameter was closely related to the moisture content status within the plant,and variable differential in stem diameter ( ΔSd) could reflect plant moisture content condition sensitively,duly and accurately.This diagnosis method is characterized for its portability,stability,nondestruction to plant tissue,continuous monitoring and automatic logging as compared with other methods. |
