Cotton suffering from different frostbites was closely studied in North Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region, Which concluded that different frostbites occurring at seedling stage showed different effects on cotton yields and growth. Where the frostbite severities reached 10%, cotton made full use of advantageous spaces at its late growth resulting from the frostbites taking place at its seedling stage to compensate its yield, Where the frostbites reached 15%, the stages of cotton growth were delayed so that cotton yield was remarkably lowered. |
