Abstract:
The polyacrylic/attapulgite (PAA-atta) superabsorbent composite was prepared by crylic acid and attapulgite clay to investigate its water retention ability and swelling behaviors in various saline solutions and fertilizer concentration, being compared with BASF M7055. The results indicated that PAA-atta composite had a higher water absorbency and salt resistance, and its general property was superior to M7055 superabsorbent.
