Abstract:
By using rain shelter, the drought-resistance of 11 dry-land rice varieties was studied in accordance with the changes of plant height, ear length, top stem length, heading date, yield components, seed setting rate, water losing rate and withering degree under water stress and non-stress conditions. The results showed that the drought-resistance index was reliable for the evaluation and classification of drought-resistance of dry-land rice. The relationships between drought-resistance and the growing parameters were analyzed by using subordinate function method. It was discovered that there existed a close relationship between drought-resistance and plant height, seed setting rate, leaf withering index, grains per ear, heading date and top stem length, but no relationship between drought-resistance and other characters.
