| Abstract: |
| The experiment was conducted with 12 inbred lines and 32 hybrid crosses with NCII design to study the evaluation method of drought-resistance of maize in seedling period. Under the severe drought condition in the field, the rolling degree of the top extended leaf was investigated and the formula of leaf rolling degree was set up to evaluate the drought-resistance of inbred lines and hybrids. There was a significant positive relationship (r=0.776) between the drought-resistance of inbred lines and that of hybrids. |
