Abstract:
      The correlation between El Nino and La Nina phenomenon and change of drought climate in eastern Hexi Corridor during the recent 50 years was analyzed. The prediction service of drought climate and its important function in decision-making was summarized. The strong sign of climate variation caused by El Nino and La Nina phenomenon was applied to predict precisely the drought during late spring to early summer in recent years. The prediction results may provide important decision-making gist and proposal for adjustment of agricultural structure and sustainable development of economy.
