Abstract:
Based on the field experiment, the adversity resistance coefficients (AC) and adversity resistance indexes (AI) of 9 different morphological and productive characters were used to study the adversity resistance of different genotype hybrid maize varieties under water and N-stress condition, by using the method of subordinate function. The results indicated that Qianyu3, Qian2599, Zunyu3, Qian2411, Guibi302, Zhongdan2 and Xinghuangdan89-2 were drought and barren resistant varieties, but Qiandan10, Qianxi4, Andan136, Qian2451 and Qianyu1 were adversity susceptible ones. The results of comprehensive evaluation by AC of yield, AI of yield, subordinate function value of AC, and subordinate function value of AI were basically consistent. It was suggested that these parameters be adopted to appraise the ability of adversity resistance in maize.
