| The “plow pan” on the farmlands in dry-farming areas is a serious problem to the agricultural production. In this paper, the engineering technique of constructing “soil reservoir” by mechanical subsoiling and its main technical measures is introduced, and its extension situation and experiment results in Lanzhou region are summarized. By analyzing the contrast results, the yield increase mechanism of this technique is given. It is shown that this technique is available to increase efficiency and income in dry-farming areas and is worthy of extending widely. |
