| Abstract: |
| Returning farmland to forests or grassland in loess hilly regions of North Shaanxi plays an important role in natural resource use, water and soil conservation, agricultural sustainable development, forestry and grassland construction, and regional economy development. The main countermeasures for highly-efficient use and exploitation of returned farmland are suggested: setting up an optimal structure of forestry and grassland; introducing protective planting system; constituting rational valley programming and adjusting agricultural production structure; enlarging the planting scope of pasture and developing grass industrialization. |
