| Abstract: |
| Environmental quality of atmosphere and soil in apple production base of Chengcheng County is evaluated in this paper. The monitoring results show that 4 atmosphere quality indexes and 6 soil quality indexes are all in the range of "no-harmful apple producing environmental condition", so this area can be determined as a no-harmful apple production base. It is demonstrated that the suspending granules in atmosphere and arsenic in soil are the major controlling polluters. In order to decrease the pollution of fruit surface, it is necessary to plant grass in orchards with the purpose to increase vegetation coverage and to decrease suspending granules in atmosphere, and to forbid the application of asomate and other arsenic pesticides to avoid the arsenic accumulation in soil. |
