Comparative study on photosynthetic characteristics among 3 Prunus armeniaca×sibirica species of Loess Plateau

Abstract:
      Light response curve,photosynthetic rate(Pn),transpiration rate(Tr), stomatal conductance(Gs),water use efficiency(WUE) of three Prunus armeniaca×sibirica species in Wuqi county of Shaanxi province were measured and analyzed in this paper.The results show that the light saturation point(CO2) of Longwangmao,Yiwofeng,Youyi were about 600,600,400 μmol/(m2·s).The Pn of 3 species were Yiwofeng [4.07 μmol/(m2·s)]> Longwangmao [3.75 μmol/(m2·s)] > Youyi [3.17 μmol/(m2·s)].The Tr of 3 species were Yiwofeng [1.74 mmol/(m2·s)]> Longwangmao [1.51 mmol/(m2·s)]> Youyi [1.29 mmol/(m2·s)].The WUE of 3 species were Youyi(2.35 mmol/mol)> Longwangmao(2.29 mmol/mol) > Yiwofeng(2.22 mmol/mol).Among the 3 species,Longwangmao and Yiwofeng had higher Pn and Tr than those of Youyi.So Youyi were suitable to be grown in worse light condition and soil moisture condition.
