Abstract:
The effects of aquasorb combined with peat, zeolite and rare earth elements respectively on physiological characteristics of maize seedlings under water stress and well-watered conditions were studied with a pot-grown experiment. The results show that the application of aquasorb and peat compound is favorable for maize growth under both water stress and well-watered conditions;the application of aquasorb and zeolite compound is practicable under well-watered conditions, but unsuitable under water stress;however, the application of aquasorb and rare earth elements compound is unfeasible under both water stress and well-watered conditions.
