Abstract:
In this paper, the calibration measures of Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) and Neutron Probe is discussed on basis of their theories and methods of measuring soil water content, and the processes of calibration experiments are described in detail. The results suggest that both of these instruments ought to be calibrated in barrel;TDR can be calibrated using the same formula in different depths of even soil profile;and Neutron Probe need to be calibrated by dividing the whole even soil profile into three segments.
