| Abstract: |
| The paper sums up the harmful features of the drought to farming in 15 provinces in northern China in the past 50 years since the nation was founded.It analyzes the principal damages that drought brings to farming,forestry and livestock breeding,and at the same time it puts forward some countermeasures to the drop in production,such as: to increase the effect of irrigation project,to enlarge the irrigated area in a planned way,to develop saving-way irritating farming,to adjust the production construction and distribution of agriculture, to strengthen the research and application of the new technology of dry farming,to build up the system of fighting drought service,to pay much attention to the construction of the monitoring and alarm system and so on. |
