Abstract:
The research progresses on the effects of sprinkler irrigation on photosynthesis (photosynthesis rate, transpiration rate, water use efficiency) and growth of crops is reviewed and analyzed. The relationships among different ecological and physiological factors and their adaptation mechanism to field microclimate changes under sprinkler irrigation condition are expatiated. Finally, the current problems to be solved and the directions of future research are pointed out.
