Abstract:
This study has analyzed the soil nutrients under different vegetation types in the Ziwuling Area. The results showed that the vegetation types made a remarkable effect on the soil nutrient content. The changing trend was that the content of total N,K and available N,P,K was basically in the order of trees>brush>grassland>farmland>abandoned field, which accorded with the vegetation succession. In addition, the total P content among the farmland, abandoned field, grass, bush and forest was rather steady. Therefore,in the hill of the Loess Plateau, converting cropland to forestland and grassland is good for improving the conditions of soil nutrient.
