Abstract:
he pot experiment was conducted to compare the emergence ratio of corn under different soil textures, different initial moisture contents and different water application, with the purpose of determining the suitable moisture for emergence of corn under different soil textures. The regression equations of emergence ratio to initial moisture content and water application were set up for sand, loam and clay soils respectively.By calculation, the suitable moisture content for the emergence ratio of 80% in these three kinds of soil was proposed.
