Effects of different spacing form、density on structure of population、light distribution and yield of phaseolus vulgaris were studied under the high yielding condition. The results indicated that there were benefits to achieve appropriate population structure and thereby the angle of inclination and extinction coefficient increased with planting density, whereas the canopy transmission coefficient for radiation penetration decreased with planting density by to enlarge space in row and reduce plant space. But canopy transmission coefficient for radiation penetration decreased with planting density.Very high planting densities negatively impacted the canopy structure, resulting in a rapid decline of leaf area index and reduce plant space.A suitable planting density can improve the yield components, enhance the sand pace and land, and give high yield. |
