| Abstract: |
| The impact of precipitation stimulation was analyzed in Liangzhou district of eastern Hexi Corridor during summer and autumn from 1997 to 2004 with anti-aircraft gun and during winter and spring from 2002 to 2004 with pyrotechnic shoot by means of non-random experiment, such as sequential test method, regional comparative experiment and regional regression test method. It was found that the total rainfall increased by 134mm during summer and autumn from 1997 to 2004,and the mean increasing rate of rainfall was 47%;the total snowfall increased by 12.5mm during winter and spring from 2002 to 2004,and the mean increasing rate of snowfall was 40%.The operation of rain(snow) stimulation was quite effective and feasible in eastern Hexi Corridor. The rational seasons, spot distribution and ideal time of precipitation stimulation in Wuwei city were also discussed. |
