Abstract:
Through using the model of productivity index, this paper studies the property of land productivity and its relationship with soil erosion on a watershed of the southern Loess Plateau. The results show that various of land productivities between different land types in Nihegou Watershed are very great, land productivities for forest land are highest, wild meadow and orchard land middies, and farmland are lowest; On whole Watershed, the land productivity for farmland drops off from village to the edge of watershed, and general decreases as the soil erosion intensity increases. The land productivity of farmland change from 0.042 to 0.211,its average value is 0.125,only is a fourth on the no-erosion dry land, the land productivity has a very good linear correlation with the corresponding winter wheat yield.
