The effects of different kinds of nitrogen on quality characteristics of spring wheat,such as protein content,dry gluten,wet gluten and SDS-sedimentation value under the same amount of nitrogen were studied.Eighteen cultivars (lines) differing in HMW-GS composition were used.The results showed that all kinds of quality characteristics had different befitting nitrogen kind.Although there was no significant effect of different kinds of nitrogen and HMW-GS composition on protein content,dry and wet gluten and SDS-sedimentation value was controlled significantly by different kinds of nitrogen and HMW-GS composition,and quality characteristics would be mainly controlled by the genetic characteristic of cultivars(lines). |
