Abstract:
The changes of chlorophyll content in the functional leaves of maize, which was grown in the Hoagland Nutrients with 4 kinds of different S content ration, have been added with Zinc to carry on heavy metal stress, and measured after the 3 leaf period under drought stress which was stimulated by using PEG6000. The results showed that: the S supply plays an important role in increasing the content of chlorophyll.Lacking S or no S nourishment can lower the content of chlorophyll in the functional leaves;heavy metal stress obviously caused the decline of the chlorophyll.Drought stress also caused obviously the decrease of the chlorophyll, however, this effect may be evidently affected by increasing S nourishment;the chlorophyll content can be alleviated under environment stress.
