Abstract:
A field experiment was used to study the effects of plant growth regulators and manganese sulfate on the growth and development and grain yield of winter wheat. The result showed that the treatment of MnSO4 and nitrogen fertilizer increased the number of tillers per plant and the treatments with paclobutrazol addition decreased the height of winter wheat. The treatments of different combinations of the plant growth regulators and MnSO4 nutrient increased the areas of leaf and the content of chlorophyll (SPAD value) in leaves the effect of the treatment of PP333(paclobutrazol)+ MnSO4+Gb (glycine betaine) was more significant than other treatments.Compared to the treatment with water soaking treatment the treatments of PP333+MnSO4+ Gb and PP333+MnSO4 also increased the grain yield of wheat by 1 014.7kg/hm2 and 640.5kg/hm2 respectively. It is concluded that the plant growth regulators and nutrients could improve the yield of winter wheat.
