Abstract:
Tow tomato cultivars Jinpengchaoguan(salt tolerant) and Zhongza 9(salt sensitive) were employed to study the effect of ALA on tomato in photosynthesis activity of protective enzy mes and yield under the stress resulting from 150mmol/L 250mmol/L NaCl .The results showed that ALA could cause tomato leaves to increase their chlorophyll content net photosynthesis rate stomatal conductance and transpiration rate but reduce their carbon dioxide concentration .ALA treat ments also raise the activity of SOD POD and CAT with high concentration salt stress decrease MDA content and it is much more obvious for Zhongza 9. ALAtreat ments may enhance the activity of protective enzy mes in tomatoes thus maintaining the cellular photosynthetic capacity and promoting the photosynthesis. As a result ALA promoted the plant of growth increased yield and abated the inhibitory effect of salt stress on tomato.
