Effect of hail defend-net on living condition in pear orchard in south Ningxia

Abstract:
      According to data of the observation to pear easily damaged by hail in semiarid area in south Ningxia it was important to defend pear from hail damage in the growth period.The field experiment was conducted to study the air humidity soil moisture and soil temperature change law in pear orchard with the hail defendnet.The results showed that both the air humidity in one-meter high air and the soil moisture at the profile depth of 0~200cm were increased when suing the hail defend-net while the soil temperature changes were small in day time with the hail defend-net especially in surface soil.The hail defend-net application can adjust the pear growing condition in semiarid area in south Ningxia.
