Abstract:
      Assessment of sustainable utilization of water resources is the core of study on water resources sustainable utilization.An assessment index system of regional water resources sustainable utilization is established based on compound system theory.The fuzzy synthetic judgment model and artificial neural network model were chosen as the assessment models.With the data from 1996to2005 the sustainable utilization of water resources of North Shaanxi is assessed in succession.The result showed that besides drought and lack of water the key factors influencing the sustainable utilization of water resources of North Shaanxi are water pollution ecological environment deterioration low-level efficiency and performance in using water and undeveloped economy.The sustainable capacity of the water resources of Yan’an and Yulin showed an upward trend from 1996 to 2005.On the whole the sustainable capacity of the water resources in this area is between low and middle stage that leaves great potential.
