Abstract:
In three varieties of Xinong 961,Xiaoyan 6 and Shan 229,canopy leaf senescence and reactive oxygen species metabolism characteristics of different wheat cultivars under drought conditions were studied. The test result indicated that leaf senescence and reactive oxygen species metabolism at grain filling stage of different wheat cultivars were different. With Xinong 961 and Xiaoyan 6,chlorophyll content of Shan 229 was the highest and had the slowest decreasing. After flowering, soluble protein content of three varieties were increased at first and reaching the maximum at the 12th day from flowering, then falling down. The reducing speed of them had no significant difference.CAT activity of Shan 229 was the highest at anaphase of filling stage, and had the slowest reducing speed and the longest duration time.MDA content of Shan 229 is the least. It means Shan 229 has the weakest membrane lipid peroxidation and the slowest leaf senescence.
