Abstract: |
An experiment was cnducted to test the effect of no-tillage and conventional tillage with different planting depth on the growth of oats in saline and alkaline land in Inner Mongolia. The control group was conventional tillage with 3 cm planting depth, while two other groups with 5 cm and 7 cm planting depth. The results showed that, with the same planting depth, dry matter and yield in conventional tillage>no-tillage;in conventional tillage, 7 cm planting depth>5 cm and 3 cm planting depth. The yield of conventional tillage with 7 cm planting depth were 64.1% more than that in the control, it also appeared significant difference from other treatments. The variations of chlorophyll content and cell membrane permeability and content of MDA at different growth stages showed that deep ploughing was a high efficient measure for improving saline and alkaline land, and increasing productivity. |
