Abstract: |
Using two different maize varieties DH-9 and XD-18, the yield, Chlorophyll, net photosynthetic rate, root activity and growth were investigated under different levels of salt stress. The results showed that the yield of maize decreased with increasing salinity in field, and the lowered range of salt-sensitive XD-18 was greater than that of salt-resistant DH9. The Chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate, root activity and growth decreased with increasing salinity, and the lowered range of salt-resistant DH9 was bigger than that of salt-sensitive XD-18. |
