Abstract: |
Based on Jensen model of water production function, using the multi-objective program methods and Vi-sual Basic 6.0, a visual decision support system was developed to optimize planting structure of dryland crops, such as
wheat, com, soybean, potato, sorghum and other crops. The users can input related data (multi-year rainfall, sunshine hours, daily maximum and minimum temperature, daily wind speed, etc.) and other basic parameters (soil, crops),
and can optimize the structure of the main crops. Its operation is simple and practical. Its application was conducted in Jinzhong area in Shanxi, each crop’s yield was predicted based on muti year rainfall data under different types of year. Compared with the actual results, it proved to be reliable, so it can optimize and guide the crop planting structure and area, while uniting food production , economic benefits and water use. |
