Abstract:
In order to probe the soil water infiltration characteristics for ridge furow irrigation, a field test of ridge furrow intercropping, simulation experiment of ridge furow irrigation was caried out. The results showed that,in ridge- furrow irrigation, vertical and horizontal wetting front migration distance and infiltration time were positively related, and the vertical wetting front migration distance was longer than that in general furrow irrigation ; The soil moisture content in furrow and slope increased rapidly during irmigation, and the soil moisture content in ridge increased slowly after irrigation by the affect of lateral soil water potential ; Moreover, the results also showed that bed film: covering was conducive to soil water lateral infiltration, the vertical infiltration was reduced, soil water distribution was more uniform, and the water seepage decreased obviously compared with no bed covering.
