Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted to study the phosphorus supply capacity of the main soil types and opti- mum application amount of phosphorus for vegetables in greenhouses in the Hexi Corridor. The results show that, for saline soil, dark irmigated desert soil, light irigated desert soil, Chao soil and irigated desert soil, the minimum phos-phorus supply capacity of 0~20 cm topsoil was 12. 26 kg/hm2, while the maximum was 18.78 kg/hm2, wirh an average of 15.30 kg/hm2. The regression statistical analysis showed that the optimum economic fertilization rate of phosphorus was 182, 269, 49, 468 and 60 kg/hm2 for squash, cucumber, eggplant, tomato and pepper respectively, with which the theoretical yield was 83.9, 82.2, 65.4, 98.4 and 72.3 t/hm2 . The result of regression analysis was consistent with that of field test.
